A Fireside Chat on AI for Social Good

 

A Fireside Chat on AI for Social Good organized by HKU-AI WiSe and the Department of Medicine, the University of Cambridge. The event is held on 23 March 2024; supported by RGC-TRS, with about 50 participants attending the event.

Victor OK Li highlighted that many AI models have made value assumptions implicitly. Different values will give different outcomes.

Victor OK Li showcased how to inject different value sets into AI models.

Jacqueline CK Lam, Co-Director of HKU-AI WiSe, shared HKU-AI WiSe’s 10-year journey on AI for Social Good, highlighting the publications and awards achieved.
